From our Work-Based Learning Program Coordinator....Joe Senn

The Tech Center continues to provide area students with real world, hands-on career opportunities. Our Work-Based Learning (WBL) program provides qualified students the chance to work with industry partners throughout West Michigan, where demand is increasing for skilled trades occupations. Students from our welding, manufacturing careers technology, heavy equipment, automotive technology, and building trades programs can earn an excellent wage while training for their future. We are also working to expand our employer base, which should provide WBL students with more options, shorter commutes, and enhanced training opportunities within their respective communities.

A Tech center WBL placement is a great way to start on the path to a solid, good-paying career.
